Fox 13: FL 10-Year-Old Battling Cancer Gets Cybertruck Parade Energy Boost

Lakeland, FL: Aubrey Hutson, a brave 10-year-old battling cancer for the third time, was surprised Friday night with an extraordinary show of community support. Featured on Fox 13, the event saw 12 Cybertrucks lighting up the night in a special dance party designed to lift Aubrey’s spirits and bring joy to her family.

A Parade Like No Other

With dozens of family members and friends by her side, Aubrey witnessed a spectacle that not only wowed her but also showcased the incredible bond her community shares. "I thought it was cool," Aubrey said, reflecting on the event. "It makes me happy when I see them around the road."

Community’s Effort for Aubrey

The parade was organized by Tesla enthusiast Jason Blount, who wanted to ensure Aubrey felt the love and support from her neighbors. "It’s to bring energy and enthusiasm around the message and behind her, and raise a little money for her as well. It’s a community effort," Blount told Fox 13.

Finding Strength in Support

Aubrey’s battle with cancer began in 2021, and despite overcoming it twice, she was diagnosed again recently. While her family continues to search for treatment options and clinical trials nationwide, Friday’s event offered a much-needed morale boost. "It means a lot to us to see our community hold her up. It brings us through a lot of hard times," said Aubrey’s mother, Lindsey Hutson.

Rallying Behind Aubrey

The parade wasn’t just about the trucks or the light show; it was about bringing hope, joy, and a sense of unity to a family facing tough times. "I feel blessed we can bring this energy and happiness into the weekend," Blount added.
